Governance

Emerson College UK is part of Ruskin Mill Land Trust, a charitable organisation dedicated to education, research and social enterprise inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner.
The Emerson College Trust Limited was first incorporated as a charitable company in 1967. In Autumn 2024, its members voted to merge with the Ruskin Mill Land Trust, joining a wider family of schools, colleges and centres across the UK that share a commitment to Practical Skills Therapeutic Education and holistic, land-based learning.
The Ruskin Mill Land Trust is now the sole voting member of Emerson College Trust, with responsibility for its assets, liabilities and the appointment of Trustees to its Board.
