DESCRIPTION:15th – 20th June 2026 \nEmerson College\, Forest Row\, Sussex. \nAn advanced residential summer school for doctors and therapists deepening diagnosis and healing through the 12 Senses\, 7 Life Processes\, plant studies and the Philosophy of Freedom. \nOverview\nThe 4th Post-Graduate Advanced Anthroposophic Medical Summer School at Emerson College UK offers a focused and collegial space for doctors and therapists trained or training in anthroposophic medicine or therapies. \nHeld within Emerson’s biodynamic estate in Sussex\, this six-day intensive brings together clinical insight\, spiritual-scientific understanding\, artistic practice\, and reflective study. The programme supports practitioners in integrating anthroposophic principles into contemporary diagnosis and therapeutic work. \nFacilitators\nDr Martin-Gunter Sterner \n12 Senses and 7 Life Processes in Diagnosis and Healing \nDr Sterner presents his distinctive clinical approach to case work\, integrating the seven life processes within diagnostic understanding and therapeutic orientation. Sessions include applied teaching and case study exploration. \nProf David Martin \nUnfolding Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom\nIntegrative Plant Studies \nProf Martin will lead a sequence of talks exploring Rudolf Steiner’s Philosophy of Freedom in relation to medical responsibility and inner development. He will also guide integrative plant studies\, deepening perception of medicinal processes in nature. \nMs Hazel Adams \nMetal Colour Light Therapy (MCLT) \nHazel Adams will introduce Metal Colour Light Therapy for doctors\, working with the seven metals in relation to the seven life processes and exploring their therapeutic application. \nDaily Timetable\n(Subject to change) \nMorning \n\n09:00–09:30 – Echo\n09:30–10:45 – Dr Martin-Gunter Sterner (7 Life Processes)\n10:45–11:15 – Tea break\n11:15–12:45 – Dr Martin-Gunter Sterner (Case studies & integration)\n\nAfternoon \n\n12:45–14:15 – Lunch\n14:15–15:00 – Hazel Adams (MCLT)\n15:00–16:15 – Prof David Martin (Philosophy of Freedom)\n16:15–16:45 – Coffee break\n16:45–18:15 – Prof David Martin (Plant Studies)\n\nEvenings: Singing\, drama\, artistic work or free time. \nThere will also be several sessions during the week dedicated to the “inner path”\, supporting reflective and esoteric dimensions of professional development. \nAccommodation & Meals\n(7 nights including 7 dinners\, 7 breakfasts and 6 lunches) \n\nSingle room with full board – £525\nShared room with full board – £402\nCamping & meals £275\nMeals only £175\n\nFor accommodation please email bookings@emerson.org.uk  \nResidential participation is encouraged to support shared study and collegial exchange. \nCourse Fees\n\nPay full before 15th March £850\n50% deposit by 15th March (£445) and the remaining by 15th April (£445) total cost £890\nPay in full any time up until the start of the course £920\n\n  \nTo register your interest and/or book HERE\nPlaces are limited and early expressions of interest are recommended. \n  \n
