Earth Mother Blessing Workshop

26 – 27 September

Creating a blessing for our mother earth, to spread through the land.

For many indigenous people, there is a deep understanding of our connection to the earth and all that surrounds her, and the need to care for her as she provides for us. This symbiotic relationship has been lost in industrial cultures where the presumption of human superiority has led to the neglect and misuse of nature.

In this two day workshop, we will work together to create a blessing for the earth, to honour her and make an intention to work with her, instead of against her. Through simple crafting, journeying and ceremony we will take this blessing away with us to be planted as Earth Mother Seeds in the areas we live in and travel through. This will spread the blessing through the spiritual roots and networks of the earth, to reawaken and enliven the magic that has been stifled in many places.

We will:

• Set our intentions and ask for help from the spirits
• Craft small ‘earth mother seeds’
• Work in ceremony together to provide blessings
• Create a circle of protection for the earth
• Deepen our connection with nature
• Work with the faeries and elementals
• Send prayers and blessings for all those humans doing good work with the earth
