Life starts at the end of the comfort zone
They say life starts at the end of the comfort zone. If this is true, I have never been more alive.
From the first moment, the journey through this course was very powerful.
When I arrived at the Emerson College for the first time, I was ready to learn about the medicine that I believe will be needed in the future even more. Little did I know that I will meet my soul family and that I will meet myself – not very comfortable since I had to deal with my deepest fears.
When I dived into the depths of what faculty brought at each module, I fell in love with medicine again.
Their dedication to the course and each and every participant is admirable.
We are learning a lot about invisible bodies, organs, medicinal plants, planets and metals but also about Waldorf Education and Biography. This is a foundation to understand further studies of different medical specialties such as Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Gynecology .We are well guided by the faculty, recordings of the lectures are very helpful in between modules as well as our individual work with our mentors.
When people with different kinds of struggles started to reach out to me hoping there is an answer for them beyond mainstream medicine, I started to realise how powerful the approach of Anthroposophic Medicine and this course is. Every new patient put me to a journey of discovering the mysteries of life, suffering and well-being.
We have a large Anthroposophic Community in our country with a lot of Waldorf Schools and biodynamic farms, and now that I am slowly stepping into the role of anthroposophic doctor, I believe I am bringing the missing piece and that the community will be even stronger and more connected.
I wish future participants a lot of new insights. I would recommend this course to medical professionals who want to understand more about nature, cosmos, human being and how this is all connected to illness and health.
