Emerson alumni can be found all over the world. They have founded schools, farms, curative centres and businesses; they are teachers, counsellors, storytellers, leaders of NGOs and change agents of all kinds. Many students from outside the UK have returned to their countries to grow new movements, such as the burgeoning Waldorf education movement in China.
Most people speak about their Emerson experience as “life changing” in some way. One student described Emerson as “a place for people with questions, and a place to find your real questions”. For many, Emerson opens paths to new ways of living and working, or of engaging with one’s work with new perspectives.
