Our Organisation & Governance

Organisation & Governance

The Emerson College Trust Limited was first incorporated as a charitable company in 1967, with the company members forming the Association, the carrying body.  The Association was responsible for the appointment of the Trustees.  In Autumn 2024, the Association members voted to merge with the Ruskin Mill Land Trust, by changing the company membership and joining the Ruskin Mill Land Trust Group.  Ruskin Mill Land Trust is now the sole voting member, with responsibility for the assets and liabilities of Emerson College Trust and for the appointment of Trustees to its Board.
