Clowning in China
Recently Vivian Gladwell of Nose to Nose Clowning spent two weeks in Chengdu, China, promoting courses at Emerson College.
This August a group from China will be arriving at Emerson College to further their exploration of clowning and visit the College. An evening performance of clowning is planned on Friday 16 Aug at 7:30pm, everyone is welcome to attend.
Emerson College has long had a relationship with China, primarily through its collaboration with local partners and institutions to offer its unique educational programs.
In China, our initiatives include offering courses and workshops that focus on biodynamic agriculture, arts, and various therapeutic practices. These programs are designed to integrate spiritual and practical dimensions of education, aligning with the needs and interests of Chinese students who seek a more comprehensive and holistic approach to learning and personal development.
We are delighted when students from China are able to visit us in the UK, furthering their education, improving their English and taking part in some clowning.
