Art can nourish the soul and heal and nurture us on many levels. Creating art we are able to connect with nature, with ourselves and with the inner qualities of the world. This connection can provide us with joy, healing and renewal.

Renewal Through Art is a series of creative art courses designed to help you re-discover your inner qualities, and explore colour, creativity and connection with artist, art therapist, social arts practitioner, teacher and international lecturer Mary Anne Paterson. Relax, rejuvenate and indulge your creative self in the tranquil grounds of Emerson College in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

Each of the seven courses has a slightly different theme and all are designed to facilitate creative self renewal, enabling you to join all or any of the courses in the series (see below for Course Dates & Themes.

All Renewal Through Art Courses is open to anyone, with or without artistic experience..

A Certificate of Continuing Professional Development can be issued on request.
