Current Opportunities:

Marketing and Communications Manager

Salary: £41,400
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Alongside the Ruskin Mill Trust publishing team, you will provide marketing expertise to enhance business revenue and course participation and will develop and implement the overall Marketing and Communications plan and to contribute to the development of the college offerings.

Working closely with the Revenue and Events Manager and administration functions to ensure that all guests continue to receive high quality courses, events and services, and that Emerson College remains aligned to the vision and values of Ruskin Mill Land Trust.

In this role, you will:
• Work with Course Leaders & Head of Education to develop and implement a marketing plan for all courses
• Identify sources and create content for Social Media, Articles, Adverts, Videos, Publications etc
• Design and production of general marketing materials as well as developing core course materials, branding and graphics including a ‘course pack’ for each course and event
• Gather feedback and testimonials for use in publicity and marketing campaigns
• Lead on updating the Emerson website with course info, events and College developments and production of a quarterly newsletter and “What’s On” communication.
• Create email marketing automation workflows and identify & manage audiences for course specific emails

You will be expected to ensure a consistent brand message across all platforms.

A flexible approach to working hours and pattern including evening and weekend working will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Willingness to travel to other sites as required.

**Join Our Team in a Newly Created Role!**

Are you passionate about good food and where it comes from?  In this newly created position, you will be producing fresh, organic/biodynamic nutritional meals for guests, customers and students.

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to take the lead of our existing food offerings while playing a pivotal role in developing our new kitchen and dining experience, currently in the design and planning phase. This role requires a
holistic approach, combining hands-on involvement with flexibility, as Emerson embarks on its transformational journey.

Main duties:
• To work in conjunction with the Emerson College management team and other chefs to ensure that the seed-to-table methodology is fully embedded at all times
• To work with the cross-trust property and development team, and contribute to the design, development and operations development of the new kitchen and dining area to best serve all customers
• To network and liaise with local and regional organisations on joint promotions and events to increase footfall and community engagement
• To be an advocate for the Trust’s Food and Nutrition policy and research elements of the work associated within this to deepen your understanding and ability to articulate the importance of Food and Nutrition to staff, guests and students and to the staff within the Emerson College and the Trust.

You will be expected to work evenings and weekends as required.
