Antonia Whitbread (Head of Legal Services, Ruskin Mill Trust/Ruskin Mill Land Trust) has worked for Ruskin Mill Trust for over seven years, first as legal adviser, moving into the role of Trust Head of Legal Services in 2021. Antonia advises on many areas of the Trust’s work, supporting colleagues as required, as well as acting as company secretary for Ruskin Mill Land Trust and its group of companies. During her time with the Trust, Antonia has worked on transactions where charitable entities have successfully joined the Ruskin Mill Trust organisation.
Antonia was born and brought up in Surrey, attended Cardiff University to study history and ancient history, and then undertook the law conversion course/LPC at the College of Law, Guildford before qualifying.
Antonia has worked as an in-house lawyer in London, in the charity sector at Leonard Cheshire Disability and Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as legal counsel at Eurostar. Antonia moved to the Cotswolds in 2010 to support her husband as he set up a hospitality business while raising their two boys.
Antonia has a strong interest in education and has recently completed the Teaching in Specialist Steiner Garden Schools course through Ruskin Mill.
