John is a certified anthroposophic psychotherapist, a UKCP registered psychotherapist, a BACP senior accredited practitioner and a clinical supervisor. He works as a psychotherapist in private practice in London and Sussex. He is also Chair of the International Federation of Anthroposophic Psychotherapy Associations (IFAPA) and a retired Associate Professor of Psychotherapy and Counselling at the University of Leeds. He has written or co-authored over fifty articles, almost thirty of which have been peer reviewed, is founder editor of a Routledge journal, has edited a Routledge book series, edited or co-edited five books. He has designed an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling and was Programme leader of that course for twelve years.
