Nick Weidmann

Maintenance Manager

Nick is the Maintenance Manager here at Emerson College, working to maintain our campus buildings and assist our onsite community. He has worked at Emerson for many years and has a great practical and historical understanding of the college, having also been a student here.

He studied Mathematics and engineering at university Birmingham as a way of exploring his love of form. He then went on to study Visual Arts here at Emerson and felt very nourished by what he learnt here.  Over the years in addition to his maintenance duties, he has also taught Sculpture on various courses inspiring students to be able to to take a lump of steel, wood, clay and enable it , mould it work it, to make a beautiful object.  If you explore our campus and sculpture trail, you will also come across some of his own sculptures.
