Having grown up in Botton Village, North Yorkshire where my parents worked, I trained as a nurse in York and Switzerland. I’ve now lived in Forest Row with my husband and three daughters for the past 30 years and retrained as a psychotherapist.

My connection to Emerson has been through having storytelling course students lodge with us. I am grateful for the educational riches on offer at the college, for the wonderful evenings of storytelling and for the cultural and ethnic diversity that Emerson students bring to Forest Row; because I value the work at Emerson so highly I choose to support the endeavours of all the staff through offering my time and energy as a trustee.
