Imbolc is the height of the Phlegmatic season- the deepest time of winter.

It is when the first herbs appear and we start to wake up from the long sleep of winter’s hibernation.

Traditionally it begins a time of fasting (Lent in the Christian calendar).

Imbolc or Candlemas is celebrated as the return of the light after winter’s darkness, as the days grow longer.

During the workshop we will study some herbs of the Phlegmatic humour (herbs of Venus and the Moon) and discover the nature of the Phlegmatic temperament and how to stay healthy and deal with phlegmatic illnesses which are prevalent at this time, colds and flu in particular.
