Lammas is the height of the Choleric season, the season of Fire when the seeds begin to develop, and energy is concentrated and intense.

The Choleric Temperament is ruled by the Sun and Mars and shows our vital force, energy, and willpower.

During the day we will discuss the Choleric Temperament in sickness and health and how to utilise fire energy to initiate and inspire.

We will look at Choleric herbs and the ideal lifestyle and diet for Choleric people.In the afternoon, we will make products with choleric herbs, fruits and seeds harvested from the garden.

No experience or prior knowledge required.

Elisabeth Brooke BA (Hons) is a medical herbalist, international speaker and workshop leader, psychosynthesis counsellor, medical astrologer and Greek medicine specialist, and the author of 6 widely acclaimed books on herbal medicine, medicine women, and traditional European medical practice.

Kirsten Hartvig ND, MNIMH, DipPhyt is a medical herbalist, registered naturopath, nutritionist, writer, lecturer, and author of 14 books on herbs and plant foods as medicine. She is also a keen botanist, cook and herb gardener. Kirsten is in private practice at the Healing Garden, and is curator of the Biodynamic Botanic Garden at Emerson College.
