Clinical note taking and record keeping are fundamental to safe and effective practice, but the demands of every-day patient care can make the task difficult. Clinical notes should, on subsequent reading, bring an accurate picture of a particular patient immediately to mind, and in this workshop, we will look at ways of condensing clinical information into a succinct form without omiting crucial data. We also look at GDPR, the main principles of data protection, and the responsibilities of practitioners in the handling of patient data.
