For students and practitioners of complementary and alternative medicine, and anyone working in a clinical setting.
Effective case history taking is often thwarted by the effort required to remember what questions to ask in what order. Every practitioner knows the sinking feeling engendered by a blank mind, and yet an experienced practitioner often elicits reams of relevant information whilst hardly seeming to ask any questions at all. This workshop looks in detail at the process and practicalities of history taking and gives you the opportunity to discuss and try out different approaches, and to develop a structured, plain-language routine that suits your way of working and allows your patients to tell their story in detail, and in their own way.
