What can the Storyteller and Clown offer us in these ever-changing times?

In the second part of this three-part exploration we will focus on loving ourselves into existence.

As Rumi puts it so eloquently “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

What are these barriers and where did they come from? Behind each of us are the patterns and the modelings of our first love teachers  – our parents!

They will always be with us. The question is: what did we inherit from them and is it still helpful?

We each have our own stories to tell here. Hand these stories to a company of clowns and anything could happen: new insights, unthinkable possibilities, love without limits.

In this time of estrangement, separation and fear come share the stuff that still matters, the things that still connect us, the heart in hiding that longs to play.

Suggested reading:
Phenomenal Woman ~ Maya Angelou
Narcissus and Echo ~ Greek Myth
Love after Love ~ Derek Walcott
